Bukola Abioye
Bukola (Bukky) studied abroad and moved to Canada after completing her LLB. and BL. In Canada, she is experienced in litigation and legal advisory roles, Bukola provides effective, client-focused representation in criminal, administrative, and regulatory matters. She successfully advocate for clients in Alberta Court of Justice, Court of King’s Bench, tribunals and boards. As the principal lawyer at Daphil Law Office since 2018, Bukola regularly secures favourable outcomes for clients through persuasive advocacy, settlement meetings, and alternative dispute resolution strategies. In addition to courtroom advocacy, Bukola offers strategic legal advice on legislation and agreements to ensure that clients’ rights are protected, and legal risks minimized. This includes preparing and reviewing complex legal documents, conducting in-depth legal research, and navigating intricate regulatory and procedural frameworks. Before being called to the Alberta Bar and Ontario Bar, Bukola gained articling legal experience from the Law Practice Program (LPP) under the Law Society of Ontario. She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Administrative Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, complements legal practice with academic excellence, and has obtained additional training such as a certificate in provincial offences, a certificate in summary conviction procedures, and a diploma in Police and Investigative Studies.
